An application may be submitted at any time of the year by the candidate himself, and must contain the following documents

• A brief motivation letter, including the current workfield and possible research area
• A CV 

These documents can be sent to the coordinator of IOPS: secretariaat.iops@rug.nl

Procedure
The chair of the IOPS board assesses the application and shall state his conclusion within four weeks. 

Membership fee – costs
Affiliated members do not pay a membership fee. They pay for each course/conference separately. The fee for conferences is €150 and for courses in general €200 per EC. Information on the fee for specific courses can be requested in advance with the IOPS coordinator.
Regular IOPS PhD members have priority when courses are full.
