Project
Validity of Self-Reported Affect Ratings
This project aims to apply the drift diffusion model (DDM) to existing datasets and extend the current DDM framework to investigate the generation of affective ratings in new experimental settings.
The goal of the project are:
• Develop experimental paradigms to shed light on the importance of various determinants of affect and various response strategies involved in the generation of affect.
• Develop computational decision models for responses to affect items for use in the lab and daily life and for a variety of response formats
• Develop a methodology to flag data points from ESM that are the result of careless responding or compliance
