First of all, happy new year to all of you! We hope 2025 will be a healthy, fruitful, and inspiring year for you.
We also hope that everybody enjoyed the IOPS 2024 Winter Conference at Statistics Netherlands (CBS) last month. We can look back at very interesting presentations and fruitful discussions. Thanks a lot for your active participation! We also would like to thank the local organisers from CBS again for all their efforts to make this IOPS conference a success!

The winners of the Best Poster presentation were Yuqi Liu with ‘A Two-step estimator for growth mixture models with covariates in the presence of direct effects’, and Meike Waaijers with ‘Can LLMs Support Researchers in Creating Candidate Theories?’.
The winner of the Best Oral presentation was Andrés Felipe Peréz Alonso, presenting ‘Mixture Multigroup Structural Equation Modeling: Comparing structural relations across many groups’. 
We congratulate Meike, Yuqi and Andrés for their winning posters and presentation.

Summer Conference 2025: June 12-13. Save the date!

Hopefully we see you all again at the upcoming IOPS Summer 2025 conference in Leiden: June 12-13. So save the date!

We can look back at an inspiring and very enjoyable Summer Conference 2023. Many thanks to the organising team at Tilburg University and the IOPS members who contributed to the conference by presenting their work. All of which were greatly appreciated.

The next Winter conference will take place in Amsterdam from 20-21 December. Save the date!
